photo colorization

skin

Make a new layer and set the foreground color to #dbd298.
Go over the skin with the color I selected or the color you selected.
Set the layer mode to 'Color' and the opacity to 40%. Duplicate that layer again,
and set the mode to 'Soft Light' and opacity to 20%.
Make a new layer. Go back to the layer that was set on color.
Go to Select>Load Selection then click ok. Go back to the new, empty,
layer and fill it with white (#ffffff).
Set the layer mode to 'Soft Light' and opacity to 32%.

Go to Layer> New Adjustment layer> Color Balance.
Midtones: 100, 0, -55

Set the layer mode to 'Color'

Eyes

Create a new layer .For the whites of the eyes, get a 1px or 2px size brush and set the hardness to 0%.

Set the foreground color to white. With your brush, fill in the whites with #ffffff
or #000000 and set the layer mode to 'Color' then set the opacity
to 40%. Duplicate that layer and set the layer mode to
'Soft Light' and the opacity at 100%.

For the coloring the pupil, select any color you want but I am going to be
using #6a827a. Set the layer mode to 'Color' at 75% opacity

Hair

Make a new layer and take a large brush (may vary) with the hardness set to 0%. and color the hair with #000000. Set the layer mode to 'Color' and the opacity of this layer to 30%.
Now make a new layer and color it with #d3a96d,
set the layer mode to 'Soft Light' and the opacity to 25%.
Duplicate the layer with the black hair color, move the layer to the top,
and set the layer mode to 'Multiply' with the opacity at 10%.
Duplicate the layer with orangish hair coloring and move it to the top,
above the black haired layer. Set the mode to 'Multiply' with the opacity at 10%.


eyebrows

Using a small round brush with the hardness at 0%, change the foreground
color to black (#000000). Make a new layout then go over the eyebrow area. Change the layer mode
to 'Color' and change the opacity to 25%. Duplicate
the layer again and change the layer mode to 'Soft Light' and the opacity to 33%


Makeup

For blush take a large brush (once again, may vary) with the hardness at
0%. Use any pink color in fill in the cheek area with pink.
I used #ff00a8 for the blush color. Set the layer mode to 'Soft Light' and the opacity at 25%.


Eyeliner

Set the foreground to black (#000000). Make a new layer and select
a small brush, around 1px-10px it may vary on the size of your photo,
then set the hardness to 0%. Set the layer mode to 'Overlay'
with the opacity of 50%. Duplicate the layer again and set the layer mode to 'Multiply'

and opacity to 10%.


Teeth

Using a brush with the hardness at 0%, going over the teeth with
the color #ffffff (white). Change the layer mode to 'Color'
and change the opacity to 50%. Duplicate the layer and change the layer mode to 'Soft Light'

Lips

You can use a nude color (#ead7ab), Dark red (842d2d),
light pink (fca1ee), or any other color. I'm going to be using the dark red.
Set the layer mode to 'Color Burn' and the opacity at 40%


coloring adjustments

Go to Layer> New Adjustment Layer > Selective Color
Reds: 30, 0, +5, 0
Cyans: 100, 0, -100, 0
Blues: 100, 0, -100, 0
Whites: 0, 0, 0, 25
Blacks: 0, 0, 0, +20

Layer> New Adjustment Layer> Color Balance
Highlights: -16, -4, 17

finally

Take the original black and white image and duplicate to
then drag it to the top. Change the layer mode to 'Soft Light'
